Our story began when were were just 17 and 18 in 2016, and we got officially married in 2025.

Maaike began crafting potions in 2020 after graduating as a multimedia designer, transforming her creativity and imagination into something truly magical. Inspired by her love for fantasy, D&D, and design, she launched the webshop, and before long, the very first potions were finding their new homes.

Three years later, Remco joined the adventure with his 3D-printing expertise, and together we’ve been running The Flaming Feather and Flaming Filament for over five years.

Maaike proudly quit her full-time job as a multimedia designer in 2023 to run the webshop full-time. And it has been a blast!
